Where Happiness Meets Wellness

At Well Medical Center, we believe health is about more than just fixing what’s broken—it’s about thriving and achieving your best life. Our approach blends traditional medicine with holistic care to support patients who are ready to put in the work to feel their absolute best.  As a team always working on achieving our best definition of happiness, we’re eager to help you find your inner happiness and health as well.

How We Work
At Well Medical Center, you’re in charge of your care. You decide how much time you need—our visits are available in 20-, 40-, or 60-minute sessions. During that time, you’ll have our doctor’s undivided attention. Interruptions are not permitted, no distractions—just you and your doctor.

When we’re with you, we’re fully present, coaching you toward your goals. We’re not answering calls or entertaining walk-ins—we’re focused entirely on helping you achieve your best health. Think of us as your health coach: you’re the one running the field, making the plays, and we’re here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Our care goes beyond medications. We discuss everything that impacts your health—food, diet, lifestyle, supplements, and alternative treatments like acupuncture or chiropractic medicine, to name a few. Together, we create a comprehensive, personalized plan to help you feel and live your best. Because at Well Medical Center, we’re not just your doctor—we’re your coach, your partner in health, and your biggest advocate.

If you’re ready to invest in your health and embrace this journey, we’re excited to have you. But if you’re simply looking for a quick work note, a one-time antibiotic for a cold, or medication refills without engaging in the process, we may not be the best fit for you. We focus on patients ready to make meaningful changes to improve their wellness and their lives.

Patient Policies & Expectations

To ensure a positive experience for all our patients and to provide the level of care we promise, please review the following guidelines:

  1. Appointment Policy

    • All visits are by appointment only. Walk-ins and unannounced visits are not permitted to respect the time of scheduled patients.
    • Please call in advance to schedule or reschedule appointments.
    • If, for any reason, you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may be rescheduled.
  2. Insurance & Prescription Denials

    • Insurance companies often issue denials as a routine step, but many decisions are reversed upon appeal when handled properly by the patient.

      1. Review the denial details from your insurance.
      2. Contact your insurance to initiate and follow the appeal process.

        For a positive outcome:

While we cannot appeal on your behalf, as this is your responsibility, we are happy to provide supporting documentation once you’ve engaged with your insurance and begun the process. Please note, we are not responsible for their decisions but can support your case as part of the appeal.
  3. Refill Requests

    • All medication refills require an in-person visit with Dr. Butler, and only active, registered patients of Well Medical Center are eligible. Refills cannot be processed over the phone.

    • In rare cases, a one-time, 30-day supply may be approved to bridge the gap until your next visit. Medications not originally prescribed by Dr. Butler will only be considered after an in-person evaluation.

    • For accuracy and privacy, refill requests must come directly from the patient—third-party requests are not accepted.

    • Keeping your scheduled appointments ensures uninterrupted care and supports your health journey.
  4. Insurance coverage and referrals

Each patient’s insurance plan is unique, with its own network of providers and specialists.

    • It is the patient’s responsibility to understand their insurance coverage, including:
      • Copays
      • Deductibles
      • In-network providers, particularly specialists.
    • For assistance, contact your insurance company directly to verify your benefits and locate in-network providers.
    • Taking the time to confirm this information will help you avoid unexpected out-of-network charges.
    •
  5. Respect for Our Office Policies

    • To maintain a professional and organized environment, we kindly request all patients respect our policies. Negative comments or inappropriate behavior directed at staff will not be tolerated.
    • Repeated disregard for these policies may result in termination of care from our practice.

Thank You for Your Cooperation
We are here to help you achieve your best health and wellness. By working together and respecting these guidelines, we can ensure a smooth and productive experience for everyone.
